29/01/23 - Interview With Deborah Ellis
Deborah Ellis is a four-time award-winning author, responsible for creating The Breadwinner trilogy, Sit, I Am a Taxi, and many more incredible realistic fiction novels read by millions across the globe. In addition to that, she is a feminist and peace activist, advocating for worldwide harmony and women’s rights.
On November 27th, 2022, we were on the phone with her after contacting her a week before. We talked for about fifteen minutes, her eloquently and deeply replying to all of our questions. A few examples of questions we asked were, If you could alter one plight people around the world face, what would it be? and If you had one chance to convince the world to strive for peace, to stop wars and suffering, what would you say to rouse it?
